Ingredients: 9 lbs 2-Row - US 8 oz Caramel/Crystal 60 4 oz Dark Caramel Munich 4 oz Chocolate Malt - US 4 oz Spalt 4 oz Tettnang 4 oz Hallertau 1 Bavarian Lager (yeast)Instructions: 1. Add grains to pre-heated water and rest @ 153F for 60 min. 2. Remove grains and bring to boil. 3. Add hops and boil for 60 mins. 4. Cool to 65F, add yeast and let ferment for 1-2 weeks. 5. Recipe Notes:

This well known dark German lager has an off-white head sitting on top of a deep ruby-brown beer. The light malt and bolder hop aroma is followed by a very malty and slight hop flavor. There are hints of hops in the finish with a mild hop aftertaste.
