Notes:
Merkur (a.k.a. Hallertau Merkur) is a high-bittering hop with, not only high alpha acid content, but one of the newer ones (released 2000 by Hüll) with the high myrcene and humulene oil content giving it an earthy grounding with a citrus zing. It works especially well in the early to mid-stages of brewing. Merkur is a descendant of Hallertauer Magnum.
