Notes:
The Apolon hops variety is hard to come by as its cultivation has been reduced due to the confusion in the hops industry when it was introduced as a SuperStyrian hop in the 1970’s, when in actuality it is cross between a Brewer’s Gold and a Yugoslavian wild male. Apolon is a Slovenian hybrid. It is used as both an aroma and a bittering hop due to an excellent balance of both qualities. The breed is not restricted and commercially viable, but it is not often employed.
